One of the best things about Christmas is singing and listening to Christmas music! Over the centuries, composers have proceed a treasure trove of music for the season that illuminates its many theological, emotional and practical characteristics.

Join us for an hour of seasonal carols for choir and audience as we prolong the festive
cheer until the last possible moment!

Our programme includes the first performance of a new carol, Puer natus est by Lauren Redhead, which was commissioned by the choir for this concert.

We also have music by Jacob Handl, Victoria, Hans Leo Hassler, Johann Walther, Holst, Vaughan Williams and Howard Skempton, plus arrangements of well-known carols, including some for audience, seasonal readings, and organ music.

There are no tickets for this concert
Admission is free, with a retiring collection in aid of the church re-wiring fund.
