All Saints’ Weston – our usual concert venue

All Saints’ church

Located in a rural setting next to Marney’s Pond, on the edge of a common, the simplicity of its white interior, its superb acoustic and its intimate atmosphere enhance and support the choral sound. Its church hall was refurbished in 2000, and now boasts excellent and modern facilities for the provision of refreshments. There is ample, safe, on-street parking in the quiet residential neighbourhood near the church and there is disabled access to the church itself.

“The plan form of All Saints is one of the oldest in the world; really basilican in type. On entering, there is nothing to interrupt our way to the Altar – we are carried in spirit irresistibly along by the rhythm of the arcades on each side of us. I sought to make it a happy place in which to worship, seeking to allow all its various parts to seem to fall inevitably and without effort into position”. Edward Maufe, All Saints Weston (1939)
