Sing Joyfully: Choir, Cornetts and Sackbuts

We are joined by The English Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble in a programme celebrating William Byrd’s 400th anniversary, along with music by some of Byrd’s friends and European contemporaries.
THE CHOIR
We are a chamber choir of about thirty-five experienced singers, based near Esher.
Directed by our new conductor Patrick Allies, we sing sacred and secular music, mostly from the Renaissance and Baroque eras, and have a penchant for rarely performed and rediscovered music.
